A clearer way to choose AI tools
Mengbi is an independent, multilingual directory for people and agents who need practical information about AI products.
Mengbi exists because the AI tool market is noisy, fast-moving, and difficult to compare. We organize tools by the work people are trying to complete: writing, design, coding, research, marketing, productivity, and team workflows. The goal is not to publish a popularity list. The goal is to make the next decision easier to explain and easier to verify.
Our directory combines structured tool records with localized editorial summaries. A published profile can include what a tool is for, likely use cases, strengths, limitations, supported platforms, commercial signals, and links to the official website. We preserve source URLs and verification timestamps so a reader can trace a claim back to a public reference. When evidence is incomplete, the profile should say so instead of presenting speculation as a fact.
Mengbi is designed for both people and software agents. Stable English slugs, localized URLs, an XML sitemap, an llms.txt index, OpenAPI documentation, and a read-only MCP endpoint make the directory straightforward to crawl and integrate. Agents should treat the source links and update times as part of the record, and should ask a person to confirm decisions that involve spending money, sharing private data, or relying on a third-party service.
We are building the product in public-facing stages. Discovery, source quality, multilingual coverage, accessibility, privacy, and rate limits are more important than a large number of listings. If you spot an outdated description, a broken source, or a product that should be removed, please contact Mengbi with the URL and the reason for the request.
