About this tool
Agent SDK for Go is designed for backend engineers, AI agent developers, and Go developers building interoperable agent systems.
Core Capabilities
- A2A Server: Any agent can be exposed as a standards-compliant A2A (Agent-to-Agent) HTTP server.
- A2A Client: Remote A2A agents can connect as tool providers for your LLM.
- Sub-agents: In-process Go agents registered at build time that share the same deployment and runtime as the parent.
- Dynamic Tool Management: Add or remove tools at runtime, swap MCP servers per tenant or user session, and register specialist sub-agents based on feature flags.
Use Cases
- Expose an agent as a standards-compliant A2A HTTP server
- Swap MCP servers per tenant or user session
- Register specialist sub-agents dynamically based on feature flags
- Add or remove tools for premium users at runtime
- Connect remote A2A agents as tool providers for an LLM
Technical
Features The SDK supports budget controls (WithBudget, MaxCostUSD), run deadlines, hooks (AfterLLMHook, AfterMemoryStoreHook), and Temporal runtime integration. A2A is suited for connecting agents across services, languages, or teams; sub-agents are suited for in-process agents within the same deployment.
