About this tool
PasClaw is an agent control plane for building and running dependable, tool-using AI agents in Object Pascal. It combines a compact native runtime with the primitives needed to build agents: register Pascal procedures with typed schemas, let the model invoke them, validate their arguments, and return observations to the next reasoning turn. The core loop stays deliberately legible: accept a goal, ask the model what to do, execute validated tools, feed observations back, and stream the result. PasClaw supports steering in flight by pushing additional direction into a running loop without terminating the current tool call or rebuilding the session. PasClaw also offers a browser build, compiled to WebAssembly via container2wasm, so the full agent loop, tool calls, and memory run client-side with zero server. For code edits, Hashline replaces fragile fuzzy patches with edits anchored to numbered lines and verified against the file state the model actually saw. The agent captures prior contents before mutating a file through fs_write or fs_edit_hashline, and /undo restores the most recent snapshot. PasClaw can sit beside RAD Studio as a local agent endpoint, giving Embarcadero KAI access to project-aware tools and a native Pascal reasoning loop. It can also mine past sessions for recurring failures and preserve the resulting lessons as explicit rules. PasClaw is open-source and free, and supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and Web platforms.
