Tokens is an open-source command-line tool for AI coding assistant users and AI developers. It tracks, visualizes, and compares token usage across multiple AI coding clients, and supports competing on usage leaderboards. The CLI scans the AI coding clients already installed on your machine, totals the usage locally, and submits only the totals. It supports clients including Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, Codex, Gemini, Kimi, and Qwen, with nothing to configure per client. Tokens is written in Rust and distributed as a prebuilt binary per platform through npm.
