OpenMontage is an open-source agentic video production platform that transforms video creation into a software-like workflow. You provide a brief and materials, and the AI agent plans the story, generates paid images and clips when needed, and sources animation and B-roll at no cost. It then narrates, captions, renders, and reviews the finished, editable video before presenting it to you—every step yours to direct. The platform supports your own assets, library, stock, or generated content, and allows scene-by-scene changes. OpenMontage can be installed as a plugin in Claude Code or Codex, or used as a standalone desktop app (OpenMontage Studio), with the same toolset. It follows a freemium model, with credits for premium features like generated images and clips.
