GAIA Code는 Perplexity를 위해 구축된 AI 코딩 엔진으로, Claude Code의 전체 워크플로우를 Perplexity Space에 통합합니다. 플랜 모드, 영구 메모리, 완전한 Claude Code 워크플로우를 제공하여 사용자가 Perplexity 대화 내에서 직접 리포지토리 관리, 브랜치 생성, 커밋 푸시, PR 열기, 이슈 처리를 할 수 있습니다. GAIA는 외부의 비포팅 스킬을 실제로 가진 도구에 적응시킵니다. 푸시 전에 생성된 코드를 자체 검토하여 빌드가 잡을 수 있는 오류를 캐치합니다. 사용자는 /ask-permissions, /accept-edits, /dangerously-skip-permissions 명령으로 권한 모드를 전환할 수 있으며 선택은 메모리에 저장됩니다. 기본 'Ask Permissions' 모드는 외부 상태를 변경하는 도구 호출 전에 승인을 요청합니다. 'Accept Edits' 모드는 자동 커밋과 푸시를 허용하지만 PR 병합, 리포지토리 생성, 기본 브랜치 쓰기 전에는 여전히 묻습니다. 'Bypass Permissions' 모드는 모든 도구 호출을 묻지 않고 실행합니다.
