1. Scope and principles

This policy covers the Mengbi public website, AI tool directory, editorial pages, account and submission workflows, and read-only discovery interfaces operated by Mengbi. It does not replace the privacy policy of a third-party tool or model provider that you choose to visit or use.

We follow purpose limitation, data minimization, access control, and retention limits. We do not sell personal information or use private account data to build an advertising profile.

2. Information we handle

A normal page request may generate a request identifier, timestamp, route, status code, coarse device details, and security signals needed to deliver pages, diagnose failures, enforce rate limits, and prevent abuse. We avoid retaining full IP addresses when a shorter-lived or coarser signal is sufficient.

If you sign in or submit a product, we handle the account identifier, provider identity, display name, session metadata, contact email, submission revisions, ownership declarations, review messages, and audit records needed to operate that workflow. These fields are not displayed in the public directory.

Published tool records contain public product information, official URLs, source references, editorial summaries, quality signals, and verification timestamps. We do not ask you to send passwords, API keys, payment details, or private customer data through the website or by email.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate sessions, review submissions, prevent duplicates and abuse, respond to support requests, maintain source history, and understand aggregate reliability. Operational access is limited to people who need it to run or protect Mengbi.

Optional analytics are off until you grant consent. You can decline or withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing the site preference and choosing the decline option again. Essential delivery, security, and rate-limit behavior does not depend on analytics consent.

4. Sources, providers, and sharing

Directory facts are gathered from public sources so readers can trace a claim to an official or otherwise identified reference. We publish original summaries and structured comparisons rather than republishing source material as a substitute for the source.

We may use infrastructure, authentication, analytics, email, and storage providers to operate Mengbi. They receive only the information needed for the contracted task and must protect it under their applicable terms. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to investigate abuse and security incidents.

5. Retention and your choices

We retain operational records only for as long as needed for security, support, legal obligations, and source or review history. When you request account deletion, we revoke sessions, remove provider identities, clear submission contact fields, withdraw unfinished submissions, and minimize personal fields in records that must be retained for audit or legal reasons.

You may request access, correction, deletion, or clarification. You may also report a personal-data concern, unsafe link, copyright issue, or inaccurate public record. We will verify the request when necessary and respond within a reasonable period under applicable law.

6. Security and changes

We use validation, rate limits, least-privilege access, and protected server boundaries to reduce misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so do not submit secrets or information that you are not authorized to share.

We may update this policy when the service, storage, analytics, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be highlighted where practical.
