SKILL DETAIL
gws-calendar-insert
googleworkspace/cli/gws-calendar-insert
gws-calendar-insert is a Google Workspace CLI skill for creating new events in Google Calendar. It is provided via the gws command-line tool, allowing users to specify an event summary, start and end times, and optionally set the calendar, location, description, attendees, and add a Google Meet video conference link. Before using this skill, you should read the gws-shared skill for authentication and global flags. The command format is `gws calendar +insert --summary <TEXT> --start <TIME> --end <TIME>`, where summary, start, and end are required. Times should be in RFC3339 format (e.g., 2026-06-17T09:00:00-07:00). This is a write command, so confirm with the user before executing.
